European Bicycle Day – It is more than a means of transport

On 3 June, we at SINOVO celebrate European Bicycle Day – an occasion that not only draws attention to growing traffic problems, but above all highlights the advantages of the bicycle as an environmentally friendly and healthy means of transport. It's more than just a means of transport!

We also focus on sustainable mobility within our company.
Our bicycle storage room, e-bike charging stations and modern shower rooms offer ideal conditions for anyone who wants to get to the office in an environmentally conscious and active way.

The figures speak for themselves: according to the ‘Bicycle Monitor 2023’, 46% of Germans would like to cycle more often in the future – a clear message in times of growing climate protection challenges. After all, around half of all urban car journeys are less than five kilometres long. If 30% of these were shifted to bikes, up to 7.5 million tonnes of CO₂ could be saved every year!
