World Environment Day: Every contribution counts

5 June is World Environment Day – a global day of action launched by the United Nations in 1972 to raise awareness of our environment and encourage active action. In Germany, the theme for 2025 is: ‘Protecting our water’.

At SINOVO, we are also committed to concrete measures to strengthen environmentally conscious behaviour in our everyday work. Because sustainability starts small – with each and every one of us, for example:

Save water – Report dripping taps and only use hot water when necessary
Save electricity – Switch off devices completely instead of leaving them on standby
Reduce paper – Print double-sided and communicate digitally
Rethink mobility – Carpool, use public transport or cycle instead of driving
Avoid waste – Choose reusable over single-use items and shop consciously

Our conclusion

Environmental protection begins in everyday life – and every little action counts. World Environment Day reminds us that together we can achieve a lot – locally, nationally and globally.
