SINOVO health solutions GmbH Receives Award for AUdiTE as “ZIM Individual Project of the Year 2026”

SINOVO health solutions GmbH was honored on June 11, 2026, at the Innovation Day for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Berlin for the successful development and implementation of the medical software AUdiTE. The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy recognized the digital assistance system as the “ZIM Individual Project of the Year 2026.”

AUdiTE automatically analyzes diabetes data and helps physicians evaluate complex treatment courses more quickly and make informed treatment decisions.

Award at the Innovation Day for Medium-Sized Businesses in Berlin

Every year, the SME Innovation Day brings together innovative companies, research projects, and representatives from business, academia, and politics. The event focuses on new technologies and successful research and development projects by German small and medium-sized enterprises.

AUdiTE received the award as part of the Central Innovation Program for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (ZIM). This funding program, administered by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, supports innovative research and development projects by small and medium-sized enterprises.

By naming it the “ZIM Individual Project of the Year 2026,” the Federal Ministry of Economics is recognizing the successful implementation of the AUdiTE project’s results.

AUdiTE supports treatment decisions in a matter of seconds

Diabetes care presents significant challenges for healthcare professionals. Glucose levels, insulin doses, meals, and other influencing factors must be considered together in order to identify risks and potential complications early on.

AUdiTE stands for “automated support for diabetes diagnoses and treatment decisions.” The software analyzes structured patient data in a matter of seconds, identifies patterns relevant to treatment, and provides guideline-based recommendations.

This makes it possible to identify, among other things, risks of low or high blood sugar, inappropriate basal insulin doses, and incorrect insulin-to-carbohydrate ratios.

More than 100 medical guidelines for well-founded recommendations

At the heart of the software is a rule-based analysis platform that combines more than 100 medical decision-making rules with data-driven methods.

Unlike many existing diabetes management systems, AUdiTE does more than simply present the collected data in a clear and organized manner. The software interprets the information from a medical perspective, evaluates it in a structured way, and formulates specific treatment recommendations with transparent justifications.

The developed rule set accounts for 95 percent of the types of diabetes occurring in Germany and 90 percent of the forms of treatment used. The entire functional chain—from importing patient data to outputting filtered diagnoses and recommendations—was validated without error using 50 simulated sample treatment courses.

CE-certified software for digital diabetes care

AUdiTE has carried the CE mark as a medical device since September 2025. Since World Diabetes Day on November 14, 2025, the software has been available as a desktop solution within the SiDiary Professional Diabetes Management Software for healthcare professionals.

The software architecture is modular and allows for integration into existing diabetes management systems. As a result, AUdiTE can be used both through licenses for medical practices and healthcare centers and as an integrated solution for larger providers.

Awards as a Form of Recognition and Incentive

By being named the “ZIM Individual Project of the Year 2026,” AUdiTE receives special recognition for its innovative strength and practical value in diabetes care.

For SINOVO, this recognition serves both as validation and as an incentive to continue developing digital health solutions that support healthcare professionals in their daily work and contribute to more efficient and safer patient care.
